If that's the case than I have good news for you: There is now tactical combat. It looked nice the first few times but was really freaking boring and somewhat shallow. The reason why most people that hated Endless Spaces hated it was the combat systems. However this is by the same people who made endless space and i own that and hated it so is this for me?. AOW3 is also always have something to do, its a busy 4x, im never hitting end turn waiting for something to build, but EL that doesnt happen that much either. AOW3 being better at the tactical stuff, EL being better at the strategic stuff. However, I would buy both as they are very different games EL is still very a good game, it's just good at different stuff to AOW3.
